Interview with Trillia

January 9, 2015 by Melissa Kruger

I had the pleasure of getting to chat with my friend Trillia on her blog yesterday.trillia-about-960x1438 Doesn’t her smile just make you want to sit down for a cup of coffee with her?  She has a true warmth that radiates from her love of the Lord and for His people.

She writes about both in her book United that came out last year.

United-cover-final-250x357I had the pleasure of reading her book in the Spring and then enjoyed meeting her at the CBMW conference (Council of Biblical Manhood and Womanhood).  I highly encourage you to pick up a copy!

You can read our interview here.  While you’re there, take some time to look around her website.  She has a video where you can learn more about her book and also check out her latest project, Fear and Faith.

Just got this special delivery from my favorite professor!🎉🎉🎉
Best kind of Friday evening.💛
As news broke last week about Ravi Zacharias’s spiritual and sexual abuse of women, I read the various accounts with profound sadness for those most directly affected by his misconduct. The betrayal, loneliness, fear, and shame women experienced because of his sinful actions are in complete opposition to the tender shepherding care Jesus extended to women. Jesus bound up wounds, Zacharias inflicted them.
Today, I interview my good friend and fellow TGC editor @quina_aragon about her new children’s book, Love Gave: A Story of God’s Greatest Gift. I absolutely loved Quina’s first book, Love Made, and this new book is its poetic and powerful continuation. Love Gave releases on February 2nd, but you can pre-order it today and receive a free audio download of Quina beautifully performing the book at LoveGaveBook.com!
Contentment is a spiritual battle won only by God’s strength in us, not a different set of circumstances.
My friend @vaneetharisner ‘s book is coming out next week! 🎉
My favorite thing my husband gave me for Christmas is a new journal from @growleyleather and a day to go and spend time by myself—to rest, reflect, and be still (swipe to the end to see the new journal…I love it!).
The most wonderful message the world has ever heard! 🕊
Thankful to have everyone home.💛🎄🏡
